- Do Motorised Blinds work with Alexa and Google Home?
- Yes. The motors we install integrate natively with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit. We set up the hub, routines and groupings as part of the fit.
- Do I need to rewire my house?
- Almost never. We offer rechargeable lithium-battery motors, solar trickle-charged motors, and hard-wired options. The battery and solar options need no electrical work.
- How long do the batteries last?
- Typically 6–12 months between charges, depending on the size of the blind and how often it moves. Recharging takes a few hours over USB-C.
- Can I retrofit motors to existing blinds?
- In many cases yes — particularly for Roller Blinds. We'll happily come and assess what's possible.
- How loud are the motors?
- Modern lithium motors are whisper-quiet — around 35 dB — quieter than a fridge hum.
